Introduction

As I decided to include a travel section to this website, the ambition was to present my often solitary peregrinations in an useful way. During the weeks preceding a travel, as a preparation, I seek ideas, good tips and instructive reports. They often give me a first impression of an unknown country. I thought my website could provide the same help to the community that helped me.

Today (beginning of 2007), I have to lower my goals. To write these pages in 3 languages took so much time that the whole website suffered of permanent incompleteness. Furthermore, keeping practical travel information up-to-date turned out to be impossible, unless one is ready to visit the same country over and over... which I'm not: there are still far too many spots on earth that make me dream of. So, I'd better drop the hotel recommendations, the price information and the administrative help instead of providing the reader with obsolete data.

From now on, you will find here a selection of pictures, including a brief caption, sometimes a longer comment. I will also keep my very personal "pluses" and "minuses" of each destination.
