The official hut index, a reedition of #2. In this new layout, each hut is presented with a color picture and a map extract. The other data stays the same, only actualized: duration of ascent, caretaking periods, elevation, map coordinates, number of beds, phone number,... and other practical details. Unfortunately, very few words on the route.

All texts are written in 3 languages. It's a real pity that the English language, which was available in the 1988 edition, has been dropped!

#29

Français Atlas des Randonnées, Suisse
Author(s): divers
Publisher, year: Kümmerly+Frey, 1997

The sentence on the cover page sums up well the purpose of that book: "Pleasures on foot up hill and down dale from the Alps to the Plateau". It has summer hikes, winter walks, city strolls, with a difficulty ranging from low to medium.

#30

Anglais The Riviera of Lake Léman - Walks, hikes, towns & villages
Author(s): Albert Gonthier
Publisher, year: Imprimerie Corbaz, 1990

A booklet that I bought to be acquainted with my new region of residence, Montreux. Compared to the more modern Rother guides, the texts lack clarity. This is something for tourists, not hikers.
