                  I have been informed that since 2009, the tourist office requires you to use a taxi to drive up to Täschalp. The cost is CHF 10.-/person. The hours are: 9:30 and 10:30 for the drive up, 17:00 for the drive down. If you count on this shuttle service, I still advise you to check this information as well as the timetable by calling the tourist office beforehand.

                  

                  Of course one can chose to hike from Täsch to Täschalp, but this adds quite a lot of elevation and effort to the hike described here. According to Wanderland's itinerary planner, it takes slightly more than 2 hour for the ascent.
